Am I Pregnant?

It is possible to have a positive pregnancy test and NOT be pregnant. It is also possible to have a positive pregnancy test and to not have a viable, intrauterine pregnancy. Miscarriage is common (occurring in as many as one in four pregnancies). To help verify if the pregnancy is viable, Avenues for Women offers free professional pregnancy testing and complimentary limited obstetric ultrasounds. Our limited ultrasound scan can verify if there is a viable, intrauterine pregnancy and measure for fetal age ("how far along" one is in pregnancy). Contact us to schedule an appointment at 502-695-0500.

Symptoms of pregnancy include:

  • Swollen or tender breasts
